Old Age
Grey hairs
Lonely
Lovesick
Worried
Many thoughts
Fewer talks
Fewer hopes
Fewer friends
Less will to live
The only thing
That keeps me going
On the zigzag way of life
Is the desire to be loved.

Liked this, good write.
Please don't worry do not feel sad, on a first sight it seem to be like you say, fewer, but maybe very worthy, How lucky I have been to meet a few wonderful old at age only people (over 70' 80') who are filled with great energy and seem not to feel old and lonely at all...They taught me that loneliness sometime could mean also absolute freedom. Not always bad, or so I hope, who am I to know? Nice poem, thank you for share.
Hits the nail on the head well. [don't get old]
At 87 years old I can totally agree with this. so truthful and sobering. Well done, with great brevity
the last three lines really hold up the rest of the poem. sweetness and honesty at the end. my kind of lines. thanks for sharing
