Pathways Of Excitement Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Pathways Of Excitement

Traveling on pathways that never tire of finding excitement
and harmony through music, walking, running, tripping along
walkways of destiny.

Finding things that clearly open our minds to the reality
of life, ones affecting our everyday thoughts as we go our
way, doing what needs to be done.

Getting it done before nightfall, as many important moments
with family always coming first, then the lesser ones follow-
ing suit.

Lessons to be learned, taught and given to our children also,
in order to prepare them for life, one that's theirs, living
them throughout the years.

Many experiences and adventures they will need to be prepared
ahead of time for, if they're not, hardship, heartache and
sacrifice will be their lots in life.

Tears will fall, hearts broken, all could have been passed by
if only they had listened to lessons that were taught by their
parents and teachers who have already lived through things.

Harmonious moments being neglected and set aside that could've
aided a child or teenager in distress, now having to go through
them the hard way, because they disregarded what was being taught.
