By Robert Rozhdestvensky
To Alyona
***
We have perfectly coincided
With each other
On day - we remember
And forever.
As words coincide with lips oval.
As with the dried-up throat - water.
We have perfectly coincided,
As the birds with the height of the sky.
As the land with the long-awaited snow
Coincides,
When the winter cold comes.
So we coincided with each other.
We have joined together,
Not knowing all
Of the bad or of good things.
And for ever
The calendar with us coincided.
