For showing
A side that I didn’t know existed
A hope not yet discovered

For proving
That I can live joyously
That I can sleep peacefully

For believing
That I can make it through
That life will get better

For awakening
My sense of judgment
My optimism

For helping
Me along my journey
My spirits lift

For lifting
Me up when I’d fallen
My pride

And lastly

For loving
With an open heart
Despite my imperfections
