The Catastrophiccorona Virus! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

The Catastrophiccorona Virus!

After the feat of breaking my harmless heart, j
You hid from my eyes for a fortnight.
When God brought us together face to face
You smiled and soon your scruple made your lips tight.
Your betrayal of love got its reflection
On your glacial face with glares and flares.

You can camouflage your body wearing
Lose or tight to make yourself grand
but you can't hide the canker which casts a spell
that cheers first, wears next and strikes fears in life.
Hey heart-breaking Smith! Turn your face.
It is a sin to see your face on this earth,
a planet with amazing charms of hills and rills!
A fairy with a fair face to pull the weak
And kill in one atrocious stroke without pity.

How are you born with an evil iintent
to pull the heart-strings of men with smiles
And make a deadly impact soon
And fill their hearts with sadness in full
and rent them to bleed and perish?
Is love a joke for you, a shameless ass?
Let your pride dare not against the cruel Covid-19
as it launched an assault against me.
