Turning The Corner Once Again Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Turning The Corner Once Again

Watching as the morning sun turns towards the afternoon,
taking us all down trails of our daily lives, giving each
of us some pleasure, at least we hope that will happen.

Turning the corner once again, darkness beckoning as the
sun is tired and aching, needing to go to sleep, letting
the moon step up and take her place to watch over earth.

Finishing the remainder of the night, coupling at times
with stars shining far above, wanting to get closer to
earth's surface, hoping to see themselves in reflections
of the ocean's surface from above.
