Walking down the serpentine path,
Made of red soil in the village.
Amazingly I was enjoying -
The beauty and it’s grace.
Under the abundance of the open blue sky
As if a huge green carpet is laid.
Butterflies and the grasshoppers
Are flying over the green paddy leaves.
Completely being awestruck
By that endless green field,
I could hear a flute’s tune
From a distant place.
Walking down ahead a little
Through the wild flowers with their glamor and fragrance
Found bamboo trees with swinging branches
With a whispering of their leaves.
White cranes were flying over the green paddy field
Witnessing the silhouette of the glimpses of nature.
With the southern wind the paddy field were waving in rows
Looking like a spinster was walking down
Moving her curves and cleavages.
They were so alluring with every twist and turn
Mesmerized with the beauty of the dancing of the paddy field.
I drank that splendor with my fullest content
I was swayed away with the nature’s exquisiteness.
O’ the nature you made me so intoxicated –
I’m lost and carried away with your glamor and sparkle.

A lovely write with an uplifting title. Thank you Amitava. May your sun shine
To be in the comforting presence of Nature with a lot of beauty is an experience in itself..... We, living in country places and the suburbs alone can enjoy the sight of paddy fields...while the city folk are denied of such charms.. You have presented a slice of Nature, Amitava!
You describe your surroundings so vividly, I felt as though I were walking with you, taking in all the beauty. I thoroughly enjoyed this walk.
This was a beautiful captivating read, I was really entranced in the imagery of the rustic location, I live on the outskirts of a town, where their is a lot of suburban development, its hard to find my green heaven, but this reminded me of the special value I place when I go their. A wonderful read, there is nothing more amazing then the power of the natural world
