Wishing For An Endless Process Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Wishing For An Endless Process

Nuggets of wisdom slipping into rhythms in order to be taken
away into an atmosphere of forlorn possibilities, nothing to
stop the tears pouring from a heart that's been abused and
misjudged all through the years.

Wanting to know when the futility will go away, taking all
abusiveness with its unpleasant memories with it, wishing
for an endless purpose that can be adhered to.

All the while living in a make-believe figment of love and
caring, is there such a place anywhere in this complicit world,
searching for an entrance that'll take the place of sorrow.

A heavy sadness for the rest of this feckless and temporary
life on earth, mind beating drums, looking for an ending that
will suffice during times of unhappiness.
