World Crisis Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

World Crisis

Rating: 3.9

President George Bush declared World War
America with allies fighting
Against ferocious ruthless enemies.

Evil and murder abound in terrorist groups
Demanding world dominance
Claiming right to destroy for religion.

Two hijacked planes flown
Into Twin Towers in New York
Thousands dying without knowing why.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Global war declared on terrorism 11th September,2001, after
twin towers in New York were destroyed.

It just happened today in our city 8 blasts.. for God's grace we are safe.. humans live under fear of timid terror.. there is no honour in war... I agree appreciate your concern..10 Rema

I do feel that, - 'a creed for world dominace ' - are the catch words! World History bears testimony to this fact! Our greed has created this creed! More blood has been shed in the name of religion, than all the world wars put together! Yet the foolish mankind fails to realise that in the end nothing shall ever last, excepting the glories of the kingdom of the Lord! -Raj Nandy
