The whole world is my home
All creations are my kith and kin
Good and bad others not bring
Birth and death not strange to living beings
Neither extreme joy at success and plenty
Nor extreme sorrow at failure and penury!
Life's journey takes the course
True at the command of the moving finger
Like the helpless wooden plank that goes
Along the course of the running river!
Neither praise the great and tall
Nor slight the short and small!
Treat each and all alike with love
Make the world a happy home to live!
The last two lines constitute the essence of this poem that promotes love and good will. The poem deserves *10* for its beautiful content and for the way it is presented...

thought is didactic, along with the pleasure it teaches you..., the simile of the helpless wooden plank too is good... we are all the same and have to follow the same course...so why this discrimination? ? ?
