I know how to go there
But there is a wall ahead.
A wall of height and size.
How shall I climb it over?
I know how to make a door
To make me go there
A door of width and length.
How shall I close it after I have gone beyond?
I know how to close my door
To stop others from following me
For they must`nt be where I am to be.
How will all judge my gains otherwise?
I know there is surely a wall
Which has to be built over and over
Over the door I make on it.
How will others follow me suit then?
I will reach there first
And none else will reach there next.
I shall have a wall rebuilt for ever
Once a door is made for me!
There in the dark I see no light
Nor any image with embracing hands
But I will surely go there
And you need not follow me for now..
Beautiful poem with indepth meaning. Journey of each and everyone is different. No one can follow too long anyone. Yes, one can follow only till ones journey ends. Everyone has a separate exit door, where only one person at a time and who has valid ticket is allowed. Everyone has to wait for their valid ticket to exit...Fantastic write from your ink.
To be honest sir, I understood absolutely nothing and I blame it on my underdeveloped maturity. Nevertheless, it kept me occupied!
Orumathiri Kanjirakkuru Kashayam vechathupole und sir... Kudichirakki... Pakshe manam purattunnu... Kurachu panjasaara tharumo?
very insightful, intuitive, knows what's what...........Dineshji.........everybody makes their own way, their own exit, their own paradise.........following is as pitiful as the attempt to flee........great write as usual.............
How I wish to follow you, but you are too selfish that you close the door behind, never letting anyone follow you! (Joking! !) I wonder why you wish that no one should follow you! Is it because you know that the path is arduous or is it because you are jealous of others sharing the credit of completing a very adventurous feat like conquering the Himalayas? Interesting! !
But then, should we not have our idols to follow? I myself would have chosen Ghandi, Christ or Mandela. A great write that is forcing me to think-Excellant 10
We all make our own way through life, each with his own path to follow, not necessarily following the paths of others. Interesting and thought-provoking write Dinesh.
Wonderful lyrics on Kashayam. I couldn't control laughing!

Nice advice not asking us to follow. Many want to follow others. Your poem says the goal for each could be totally different beautiful poem. Thank you.
