Looking at me
As if I have the answers to life
Scrutiny at every failure
You forget what is inside
You aren’t as perfect as you make it seem
Failing at every line…..
How can you gauge my every move,
When you're kissing your sins?
Letting them taint you inside and out.
Not as perfect as you'd like
Stop acting like you know me inside
I'm not nearly as stained as what you try to hide
You don’t know my every thought
Silent screams emerging from your soul
Take your eyes off me
Breathing in disgrace
Living in your own hell.
Hiding behind a perfect mask
Fooling no one but yourself
