I write English and Swahili poetry. I started writing poetry for fun when I was in Secondary school at SOS HERMAN GMEINER SCHOOL ZANZIBAR. I then joined performance poetry while I also wrote poems for ceremonies. I then did an Msc in Creative writing at the University of Edinburgh to hone my writing skills. My dream is to become a great writer in the world.)
