Amy J Richardson Biography

Hello. I live in Middlesbrough in the UK with my partner and whippet. I am 39 years old, and I am just starting out as a children's (ages 7-10) poetry author. I used to write poems in my teens and early 20s to cope with a difficult time in my life, but having come through the other side of that, I now want to focus my efforts into children's literature that a family might enjoy together.)

Wise Rabbit

The wise old rabbit looks into the wind,
and over his ears it blows,
His eyes half shut, his whiskers flat,
as into his mind he goes.
Not a word he says, he listens to all,
He barely twitches his nose,
And the more he sits in stillness,
The greater his wisdom grows.
