Indian villages and the country
So rural
And made of mud

The man of good heart
It is really difficult to find.

Golden painted statue of Gandhi,
The same old man
With the stick

I found him not

Not even in me
Saw I him

I have been searching,
Trying to find out,
Perhaps my life pass out
In finding him

Saw I the poor India's poor men
Living in mud houses
So poorly
Living below the poverty line

Made of mud
Of poor India
