Brian Apollo was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. Employed as a school psychologist by the Chicago Public School system which is the third largest school district in Chicago, he currently operates as a school psychology lead and is a mentor of school psychologists within that district. Specializing in parenting styles and psychological assessments, he uses his talents to help improve the quality of life for children and their families within the Chicagoland area.
He is also an ordained deacon of Ruach Covenant Church International in Chicago, Illinois. He served in multiple capacities including being a children's Sunday school teacher, youth minister, and had served as an usher since the age of 16.
Brian Apollo began writing poetry since elementary school and had his first poem published in sixth grade. His collections of poetry are often considered raw, motivational, and inspirational.
