I have sung in various choirs throughout my lifetime including

Church choir (I was the choirmaster of our local church choir at our Roman
Catholic Church as well as a Eucharistic Minister)
I have always loved reading and writing poetry especially when I am inspired
I have only lived in two places in the UK
1. Stoke-on-Trent (Staffordshire)
2. Folkestone (Kent) - current residence
Where's he gone now, mom? - Don't ask me.
The last I knew - he was having his tea.
Where's he gone now, mom? - in his room I guess.
On his computer... or just making a mess.

For nine months she labours, her baby appears.
She suckles and nurtures and struggles for years.
With love and affection, she helps her child grow
Until the day comes when she has to let go.

For hours he practiced - alas twas in vain.
He played it, and played it again and again.
Why couldn't he do it? Why was it all wrong?
With the other musicians - he didn't belong.

To hold a tiny baby
That moments past was born.
To see a lover waken,
in the sunshine of the dawn.
...
At 80 years old, I still feel in school,
and as each day passes, feel more like a fool.
To be told what to eat, and also what not.
To be a real person, I've almost forgot.
