Hear oh hear!
the cry of my heart,
for evil minds & hearts has trapped me like a deer,
and in my soul and will; have they pierce their dart.
their bow and arrow;
shoots my way sorrow.
And further they lead me away from the gate so narrow,
Yet I live with thoughts of a better tomorrow.
So hear my cry and give me insight,
guard my steps everyday and night,
for faithful are you to save my plight, right?
Then, deliver me with all your might.
Oh Lord! scatter where they gather!
Separate us with a heavy border!
Take from my shelf fear and bother!
And provide my daily bread and butter!
For my salvation is in you and no other.
