Daniela AndonovskaTrajkovska Biography

Daniela Andonovska-Trajkovska (born February,3,1979 in Bitola, Macedonia) is a poet, eseist, scientist, and university professor. She holds doctorate in Educational Sciences at “St. Kliment Ohridski University” – Bitola (UKLO) , R. Macedonia, and she is working as a professor at the Faculty of Education-Bitola at the same university. She teaches Teaching Methodology of Language and Literature, Early Language Literacy, Creative Writing, Critical Literacy. She has taught Educational Methodologies, and Early Childhood Experiences in Language Arts at the International Summer University (2005-2008) in the organization of ATA (Academic Training Association) , and SPARK (Amsterdam, Holland) , and has been in a study visit in Chandler (Arizona) , London (G. Britain) , Bologna (Italy) and Amsterdam (Holland) . Andonovska-Trajkovska is co-founder of the the University Literary Club “Denicija” PFBT UKLO, and also of The Center of Literature, Art, Rhetoric, and Language at the Faculty of Education-Bitola, UKLO. She is a member of the Macedonian Science Society – Bitola (MSS) , and the president of the Editorial Council (MSS) . She is also a member of the Macedonian Association of Writers, Editor in chief of the literary journal “Rast” published by the Bitola Literary Circle, and editor of the literary journal “Contemporary Dialogues” published by MSS. She has published scientific articles in international scientific publications, and also poems, short stories, essays, literary critics in literary journals. She is the author of 5 poetry books (A Word for the Word (2014, co-authors: Zlatko Zhoglev and Gordana Stojanoska) , A Poem for the Margins (2015, co-author Gordana Stojanoska) , Black Dot (2017) , Footprints (2017) , Three (2019)) . Andonovska-Trajkovska has received special mention prize at the XVII Nosside World Poetry Prize in Italy (2011) , and The Best Poem Prize at “The Fest of the Lindens” by the Macedonian Association of Writers in 2018
