It's a long road ahead
Wishing you at the end.

A look at life through eyes that talk,
But we have to be able to walk.
Life is tough and can be rough,
But a smile a day makes it worth the stay.

We are meant to be strong being men,
Some more than others to complete their zen.
We smile and fight,
Though life is so tight.

We may not be together everyday, but I think about you in my mind that's where you stay.

You don't talk to much, or open to say but I love you regardless every single day.
You are in my mind as you progress through life, and I always will be there with life's big strifes.

The bangs take me back, to a time life could be black.
Watching the pain, oh all the strain.

They frighten me to the point I don't want to go, making me feel lost and low.

Regrets are things you wish you could change, like being stuck in a maze.
Wishing you could see what was to be, to save you pain and wanting to flee.

I just wanted everything to be perfect, not like everything would fall into place.

A simple vision, a simple thought.
A simple word, an item someone brought.
That's all it takes some days,
To make me realise my memory never fades.
