Debra Stewart Biography

Hello! My name is Debra Stewart! I am a stay-at-home wife, and I live in a mid-sized town in Illinois with my wonderful husband, Chuck. I am mom to a daughter and son-in-law who have given me 3 precious grandchildren,1 girl and 2 boys, and I am also mom to a son and daughter-in-law. I started learning about Jesus when I was 7 years old, and this continued until I was 16. Unfortunately, for the next 25 years, I didn't live the life that I should have been living. I never did anything extremely bad, but I did make some wrong decisions. I did some drinking, and I made some poor relationship choices. I was looking for love in the wrong places. Through all of that; however, God always watched out for me. Even though I wasn't living for Him like I should have been, I had no idea He was waiting for me to come back to Him- or that He had marvelous things planned for me. I started coming back to Him in 2006, and it was at this time that I met my husband. He had also wandered away from God for about 20 years, so together, he and I were on the road that would lead us back to God. We got ourselves back into church, got involved, and that brings us to today and the purpose of this website. I talk to God daily while I am working around the house, and He gives me things He wants me to share with others. I have written them down and hope to one day get them published, but in the meantime, I hope that you enjoy them and that they bring you inspiration as they have for me. I am His messenger.
