Dipankar Dasgupta Biography

I started my career in Kolkata, India with Development Consultants Private Limited as an engineer in their Power Consulting Division in August 1977 after graduating from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. After working there for a year I went to United States to pursue post graduate studies.

After graduating with two Masters Degrees (Mech. Engg. & Comp. Sc.) from University of Miami, Florida, I joined AT&T Bell Laboratories in New Jersey, USA. I worked with AT&T in USA and Singapore for 22 years. My last position with them was Vice President & Chief Architect.

In 2006, I joined Nokia as the Asia Pacific Chief Technology Officer, and later was the Global Head of Networks for Nokia Siemens Networks.

In 2012, after 32 years in the corporate world, I became an entrepreneur, and started an Education and Corporate Training organization called Pinnacle Global Education and Training. I am a Partner and Senior Vice President. We are registered in Singapore.

I have a strong relationship with the corporate world in the Asia Pacific region.
