What do people put in a biography? It is so much easier when others write these kind of stuff for you. But anyway, what would interest people who read my poetry? I have no clue what so ever.
Well, I am Mariaelena Di Rocco. I am part Italian and part Dutch. And now you might wonder: why would she write her poems in English. Well, that question is easily answered. I went to a bilingual high school. I am comfortable with the English langues. I think in English, I dream in English, I even talk to myself in English. I love the English language, a lot have called me weird, someone once told me that I speak one of the most beautiful languages in the world (Italian) and that I am a strange person that I love English more. Well... I am glad I am strange.
I think I am babbling a little. That is one thing I do very often, babbling. I jus start talking about practically nothing.
I love German sheps. These dogs have inspired a poem. But that poem is on a different account on here. I lost my password and the email-address was deleted. That is why I made a new account. This is the link: http: //poemhunter.com/mariaelena-di-rocco/. Those were my first poems. And I wrote them before I found my muse :) . So definately not my best ones.
Hmmm... what else can I tell in here. I don't know. If you want to know something just send me a message and I will add it on here or answer it personally.
I also want to thank all the people who read my poems. It means a lot to me. So thank you, very much.
Your voice so soothing and calm,
At night I feel your palm.
It caresses my cheek in my sleep,
And I know you are mine to keep.
...
I wished we lived in a fairytale,
too far for others to find.
I wish for mountains with snow so pale,
so we can leave our lives behind.
...
You know exactly what to say,
at times I feel grey.
I feel so weak,
everytime you speak.
