I was born and educated in Toronto, Canada. I taught elementary school in Toronto from 1960 until 1971. I have been married for almost thirty-six years and have one daughter. She is a doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto. I graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Science at University of Toronto in 1997 with a degree in Languages and Literature. Poetry has always captivated me and I have been writing poems to express my own emotions for about ten years. I travel constantly and often find topics to express in poetry while in a foreign environment. Most of my work seems to express my love of the natural world.
Bright yellow daffodils are dancing in the forest
While two lively bunnies frolic in the fresh green grass.
Spring is on its way and thoughts turn to the renewal of life,
With the resurrection of the cycle of seasons.

Breezes of the ages whisper through the pines
While crystal droplets join in flow and tumble
Over the jagged edges and under the timeworn turf
Scented by the purple haze through fine mist and fog.
