Broken Bits Fit

As we tip velvet blue skies leaving our masked disguise
Help me feel less alone and more whole,
Handle the bidness at hand and help me to understand
The wailing cries from unspoken requests
put me up on a shelf to collect the dust from untouched days gone by
Can you even look me in the eye?
We meet in the midst where our Broken Bits Fit
Collecting data for the superficial whim
Letting go and sinking in
Swaying back and forth with every gentle breeze passing thru the meadow
It is nice to meet the missing piece of my soul
Scattered ashes from burnt offerings adorn me with blackened soot
Raising my vibration rather than my voice
Quicken breaths keep me alive and abreast of what is next
Venturing to make my peace with the unfit ways Eye know as golden sins- making the ghosts of my past engrave my skin with the pain that never ends
Bullets baring only my name and now Eye will never be the same
Reign down on me and release me from the curse
Allow me to burst filled with sheer joyous praise
The change in the soil reminds me that even a rose can grow thru concrete
At a glance, you would never know
Just how badly Eye can't let you go
Clenched in despair and hoping to be sweetly carried away with the bland fears that scatter about in my mind
Broken in the dark and finding my way back to a place Eye have never been
Letting it all sink in...
