Jude, better known as Poet JLA, likes to be a man immersed in an ocean of thought. He writes poetry to understand life as told in the eyes and actions of everyone else, empathizing, celebrating and wondering about their alternatives when things get too dark. Poetry has been his craft for over a decade, and he continues to swim in that ocean with several anthology entries, Instagram Live and stage performances. In addition to his poetry, he took on digital art in 2020. He did this to create visual aids for his poetry but then decided to take it on as another independent hobby, which has helped him shape his odd yet somewhat appealing ideas immensely.
Every day the morning light bursts,
The rays' possessions flow from head to toes,
Resurrecting you from lived dreams of days past,
As you savour the seconds of slumber that last.

COVERED SIGHTS
His eyes ground the view of motioned skies
Silenced by the reign of ill time
...
I follow the sun
Chasing rogue rays between the leaves
Dreading the stay beneath night's sleeves
In skins made of ruined loves.
