Outside - Lockdown In Spain
Open the window my love,
It's outside where my inside wants to be,
You and I running on the beach like days gone by,
Running free like children away from Franco.
We are caged like beautiful birds,
Lock down? House arrest? You tell me.
Open the door my love, I want to hear the children,
The children? Where are they? Old prison? Young prison? You tell me.
Open my eyes my love, I am blind to this lockdown house arrest.
Open my mouth love - I must speak……….
