A presence who colours perceptions
Genuine in existence or physically nonconfrontational
Favours justice than triumphs with evil
One who is bigger than the fear
...
I wonder, you wonder
Let's start a wonder, together
I'll get there, you'll get there
...
I could sense it rise almighty high
I could not ignore the beast which dwells inside
I watched as the drama unfurled
As it charged out from my sight
...
Today slided into yesterday
One day by one day, they passes with the disheartening sameness
The darkening of sky welcomes the coming of dusk
And the sun would arise from the horizon soon after
...
When I noticed my nervous inner monologue
I already made a string of misguided impulses and decisions
It drove me to my secret fort
I wrapped myself with quietness and unwavered stonic composture
...
Your words are preying on my fears to destroy my happiness
I tried to push them out of my mind
But you keep on dripping poison into my ear
I tried to hide what I'm hiding inside
...
I spin life into fairytales
As if dreams could awaken and become reality
I want to know what happiness is like
By imagination, perhaps it could touch my heart
...
I gaze up, reading the mysteries in the cloud
I think of you
A puzzle that leaves me with thousand of conflicting sparks
What is it about you that with a look could bring me a silent smile
...
I never known your face. What lay behind the facade
You are a intriguing mystery who comes & goes as you wish
You have seen my falling, you have seen my tears
...
An overwrought imagination
Look carefully again
It was a dream in the hellish night
Look as it charred to a cinder upon awakening
...
Again, I stood rooted as your footsteps took you far away
I kept my face well under wraps
Not letting the tears marring my calm respite
...
I turned back to look behind
It's like I had left a ill-defined trail
I could not even remember clearly what had happened that shaped into the present me
And the world is a deceptive place
...
I hummed a melody for our meeting
I wrote words for our memories
I sang a song for our parting
...
I opened my heart for words of comfort
And closed it with stiffened resolve
That the 'thing' I'm searching for is not the main key to happiness
This is merely a brainwash to refrain from getting too hurt
...
Can you feel my ghostly presence in the core of your heart?
The prayer frozen on your lips
You can't push me away
...
Sitting by the windowstill
Looking at the moon, a shivering silver of pale crescent
Ducking in and out of scudding clouds
...
How long can I remain as a child
To rely on these hands to guide me through the maze of life
Someday, they will let go too
...
Have my own bitterness warped my own vision
I cringed at my own reflection
Time has stolen what is left of my childish wonder and innocence
...
Time shedded like leaves
Welcome the days of winter
Give you words of fire
Like a happiness that shone with wonder
...
What is the heart of such stories?
To sugarcoat the truth or prove its sweet existence?
have I lost hope beyond repair?
Spin my web of lies, to only acknowledge what's the certainty in my life.
...

Everyday Heroes
A presence who colours perceptions
Genuine in existence or physically nonconfrontational
Favours justice than triumphs with evil
One who is bigger than the fear
And cross the divide of silence
His dynamo of action speaks of the goodness and kindness
The other, believes in no resignation
Knows reality does not kowtow to expectation
Despite a downhill spiral
The warrior spirit does not bolt at slightest hint of trouble
A strong-minded never cease to convince
My heart to praise to such a hilt
The last one, restores a smile to the stern
A day makes brighter is never a futile effort
The flame of gladness, my gratitude, I always remembered
