Daddy Denied Me

I found out today why my mother hurt so much, I found out why she frowned at your name like she had wrongfully been touched.
I found out why when you hurt me, it hurt her twice as much. But being young and a fool, I didnt think you were capable of such.
Ages 1 through 8 I was blinded to the fact
Ages 8 through 16 mama had my back
16 through 18 no more sugar coating you see...

By 19 mama told me that daddy denied me.
