As childhood friends
grew up,
and sands of time
Slipped away,
...

Rain clouds above, covering the firmament,
trying to find my way out of this wilderness.
If only I could find someone to guide me,
the clearing of the skies will be determinant.

The Belly Of A Giant Snail

As childhood friends
grew up,
and sands of time
Slipped away,
The Innocence steadily,
(dissipated) .

‘found myself in reverie,
And start to travel
In backward motion

Chewing on
Reminiscences,
of youthfulness
And past commotion.

And came to a place
where I was glad,
the early school days,
and the playground yard.

With a friendly snail
Who stood in the middle,
carrying children in it's
(warm) belly,
And leaving me,
with just one riddle.

(it was no more than a slide)

Hearing them scream
carefree and full of joy.
Beneath a deep blue sky,
and the day-star
Morning glow.

A lonely child stood there,
watching from afar.
Restlessness on a sad smile,
And a too-soon broken heart.

Isolated from the crowd,
forsaken and left apart.
A premature misfit
Yet,
sufficiently smart.

So kindness ends up
in a slough,
‘Cause
Even when we are young,
For must of us
is not enough.

and discarded with
Insecurity and
unaccepted
for who you are,

Giving a glimpse
into the future,
Who left me
with
sunken scars.
