Blue Poppies

Have you ever seen blue poppies?
Thin and graceful, with their noble heads straight.
Do not try to find them in the gray fields,
They are high on the top of the mountains.
Neither the cold of the mountains, nor the scorching heat
Can ever make their dignified heads bow down
The sky has painted their faces with its color.
As if it takes all my love away
What about the wilted poppies in my heart?
The relentless hurricanes blowing through me
The storms that grab and scorch me
How do they find the strength to resist?
What about the emptiness, the huge emptiness inside me?
My poppies are not plenty to fill it.
Your heads are blowing one by one
They are fading in my arid heart
A seed of love, the warmth of a friend
Can revive the poppies in my heart,
Love can make them bloom one by one
They can turn green in the depths of my soul
May the color of the night not cover my heart.
May the sun' s beams illuminate my world
Let the restlessness in my soul end.
Where are the poppies, the blues?
Let my beloved enter my trapped heart,
Do not let her find the exit in my heart' s maze
Has my life's thread become so thin?
Enough to tear me from life.

Or on the edge of a cliff?
