My soul is a bewitched boat
of your poems which like
a pacific swan floats between
the aisles of your words.

Poetry is love disguised

And when it hurts,
the boat bleeds.
But my love, I know
how to swin in the
channels of our blood
which mingled last night
when I rested my head
on the hairy armour of yours,
deep in your arms,
beneath your skin,
beneath my earth.
