Nisha Pratap Poems

You were a curse,

Destined to end in hurt and remorse
...

She was shattered
like stars on the Andromeda.
Indeed, a magnificent mess it seemed
Through the fog and pain,
...

Lush green grass and breezy curtains gaze my face
As I pull myself up from yesterday's mess
A tinge of Mary Jane and a goodnight's sleep
Is all I want despite my dishevelled aspect.

Agony Of Yesterday

You were a curse,

Destined to end in hurt and remorse

As a wrecking Ball, crushing me

And breaking every bone,

Bruising and tearing me apart.

A pleasant wound you left,

Engraved deep within

Little do you know how I melt

Everytime it echos of how I felt.

Those days I still regret.

The pain I dealt,

The breakdowns of Guilt...

Why fate thou be unfair?

What hate thou hast for me

I be mere dust and bones

Now crushed to death by days agone.

A torment that still haunts me

It hurts to know that you're near,

But in the end, you're not.
