To re-write everything going on in your mind
To be able to leave all the hurt behind
Yet memories of the past are getting in the way
While fear of the future are causing delays

Amazed by the gold, frankincense, and myrrh
Given by the wise men, who stood near
Who came afar to set their eyes on the King
Whom angels, the shepherds, heard sing
...

As the year ends it's left me with a smile and a sigh
A year of struggles and joy, with people who lifted you up or made you cry
And i've liked, i've followed, i've posted, i've commented
Falling in a cycle i never intended
...

As the year winds down
And as i look around
I consider all the changes made
As the old years memories fade
...

The haze of the past will never let you see the horizon down the road
As you keep walking, bearing past memories heavy load
As you wonder how to get over this overwhelming sense of loss
The answer lies on the fork in the road you came across
...

Truth waiting to be discovered
Light waiting to be uncovered
Bringing darkness to nought
By bringing people it sought
...

A struggle came before me
A vision at night caused me to see
Those things my flesh could not for it was foolishness to it
Therefore by foolishness would my heart be lit

Look beyond the tomb; for no one is there
Look to Him in His throne; from the power of a simple prayer
As evil overwhelms the land
Seek for guidance; your life is in His hand
