Varchaswi Putcha Biography

Mr. Varchaswi L.Putcha, hailed from Hyderabad of the state of Telangana in India, is a born artist-painter with a medium of watercolor, oil and acrylics. As such, he is so agile in sketching, cartooning and caricaturing and won so many awards to his credit. On the flip side, though busy as an officer in the taxation department of central government, he is a prolific writer of short stories in Telugu, (Varchasweeyam,1997, an anthology of short stories in Telugu) , and bilingual poet in Telugu and English.(Lokaassamastha,2014, an anthology of poems) Thus the born artist-cartoonist-caricaturist (Varchaswi cartoonlu,2017) is also an illustrator, painter, poet rolled into one and is remarkable as a multifaceted. He is also a free thinker and an ardent Humanist with a tinge of scientific tempor. His works whether in prose or poetry or painting or cartooning, as such, not only carries amazing aesthetics and hilarious wit but also significantly traverses through the tenets of tales of downtrodden with a glorification of righteousness and humanism. In the educational front, he studied his Bachelor of Science and did Masters in both sociology and Law.
