Με λόγου τέχνη σμίλεψες την μορφή της
Όσο πιο όμορφη την είχες ονειρευτεί
Τόσο την πίστεψες σαν τέλεια οπτασία
Την ερωτεύτηκες, στα λόγια είχες μπλεχτεί
Η Αφροδίτη τον πόνο σου τον γνοιάστηκε
κοντά σου την έστειλε σ' ανθρώπινη κοπή
μια Γαλάτεια που Πυγμαλίωνα αναζητεί
