كَمْ مِنْ أخٍ لكَ نالَ سُلْطانَا

كَمْ مِنْ أخٍ لكَ نالَ سُلْطانَا، .................. فكأنّهُ لَيسَ الذي كَانَا
ما أسكرَ الدنيَا لصاحبِهَا ................... وأضرَّهَا للعقْلِ أحيانَا
دارٌ لهَا شُبَهٌ مُلَبَّسَة ٌ،................ تدَعُ الصحيحَ العقلِ سكرانَا

إيَّاكَ أعْنِي يا ابْنَ آدَمَ فاسْتَمِعْ

أؤَمِلُ أنْ أخَلَدَ والمنَايَا

أرَى الدّنْيَا لمَنْ هيَ في يَدَيْهِ

لكُلّ أمرٍ جَرَى فيهِ القَضَا سَبَبُ

إنّما الشّيبُ، لابنِ آدَمَ، ناعٍ
