09-11-12

twelve months
three hundred and sixty-five days in one year
Nine Eleven Two Thousand Twelve
Heads turn side ways
Or Bowed down
With no expression to indicate a smile
Just numerous tears and a single frown
Head Lights -
A Nightmare
That became Reality
Of a soul unbound
Sleeping Sickness-
Two months
When she awakes-
In months to come
Of cognitive alignment
Bio-shock of a coma -
One of a Tenth chance
To wake
Re telling her identity -
Familiar faces of her family
In a hospital gown-
Body under ECMC's white bed sheet-
Black braced leg;
From thigh to foot
Missing every ligament,
Mystery of bone piece.
Doctors say she is a miracle,
But questions lay unanswered
Repeating in her brain
'Why did this happen to me? '
Tears could never conclude
To her own devastation
Of this-
Agony. Sleeping sickness
No frown could determine emotion
Silence-
The loudest cry of weakness;
She can break down
After awakening from sleep-ness
Of a reality
You could only wish
On your worst Enemy
Tho a scar embedded
In her right leg skin
A survivor of a Nightmare
Own Fragile Heart
with Coping Words
Cease the darkness
To her own light
She will recover
She will win,
A battle to her wounds
A traumatic brain injury,
Time couldn't go any faster
her Own Mind wants to hurry
As days go by; she feels older
As if she was thirty.
Seen the dark
She feels for the light,
As it was sensitive to see-
But both eyes opened
Learning to accept
Her own reality
Somebody save her
Save 'me'
I'm trapped in a cage,
Searching to unlock-
But where's the key?
She can
Can she,
She can - can she?
Try to remain positive in this reality
Right brained- Imagination
There is No such meaning
to Impossibilities
Word only exists
Through our interpretation
Discovered a word,
But is it more
Than a word?
She can
Remain positive
To an angelic turnpike
911
A miracle, an angel
Unfinished for this earth,
There are angels,
With no earned wings
On earth - as they are in heaven.
