Though i had read the story of that Marathi milkmaid-mother i enjoyed reading it again. Today in school i discussed with my friend about Tamil Illakkiyam and Mother's Care towards her infant. One poem describes like this....a mother was so sensitive to remove a petal of jasmine fell upon her baby lying close to her, at night, in her deep sleep, without opening her eyes, by her hand!
