Alarm goes off at 6: 30
But that wasn't enough sleep for me
Hit the snooze button, just 5 minutes more
But the alarm starts to chime at 6: 34
Getting up at that time just doesn't feel right
6: 35 I'll jump up and turn on the light
But I make the mistake of a quick Facebook flick
I look at the time and it's 6: 36
Okay then, I'll wait for 6: 40
Enough time for an online shopping spree
By the time I'm done it's 6: 47
6: 50,3 more minutes in bed heaven
But 6: 50 comes and I don't want to shift
And that's when my mind starts to drift
Why don't I just quit my job?
I won't need an alarm, I'll be a full time slob
Or maybe I could win the Lotto jackpot
And move to a place where it's constantly hot
How much money would I give everyone?
Or should I keep it quiet and go on the run?
By the time the daydream ends it's 6: 58
And I start to realise that I could be late
But to get up now would just feel wrong
So I wait for the 7am alarm gong
When it comes, I jump up and turn on the light
'I love you bed, I'll see you tonight'
