12: 00 Poem by Krystyn Maynard

12: 00

A chariot comes and I entered in.
The wind hits my face.
I breathe in the smell of fall air.
The wind blows my hair.
The man helps me out the chariot.
I entered the ballroom.
The prince asks me to dance with him.
I danced with him.
The clock strikes midnight and I ran.
The purple dress dances around my body.
The chariot transforms into a pumpkin.
Men chased me.
I escaped the palace.
They destroyed the carriage.
I ran away.
I arrived home.
He visited me the next day.
He brings me my purple shoes.
I put my shoes on.
The shoes fit my foot.
The wedding bell rings.
The choir sings.
We kissed.
We will be together.
