31 - December Poem by Mike Ssendikwanawa

31 - December

Just Like Any Other Day In The Tropics, On 31 - December, The Sun Rises From The East And Sets In The West.

And For The Arctics, Snow Continues To Fall; Flake On To Flake, Piling Into Ice Blocks, Irrespective Of The End Of Year Tension In People's Minds.

However, For The Human Population Worldwide, Is On A Count Down Of The Hours Left To Cross To New Year's Day; 1 - January.

Some Are In Church, Some Are In Concerts, Some Are In Clubs, And Others Are At Home With Family, But All Waiting For The End Of The Old Year, And The Beginning Of A New One!
