Every morning
Around 3am
I walk out to the middle of my yard
I shut my eyes & throw my head back
I just stand there looking upward
Letting the wind enrapture me
It sings to me in such melodic tones
Like nothing other than an angel would
So I start to dance
Under the moonlight, & under my misery
The trees, they dance with me
Wavering in the same harmony I am
Whispering amongst themselves
About how heavy sadness is
Sometimes, I'd just like to be left alone
