a jewel amongst thieves
yet no one percieves i'm a gem
they just condemn me to exile
when all the while they continue to loot

they take away my time
commit the crime and pass the bill
i'd kill to have my life back
i just want the attack to retreat & dilute

an emotional beat down
the frown i wear is truly real
i feel as if nothing is right
the fight has left me still and mute

a diamond in the rough
who's had enough of being taken
just forsaken by the buyer
an unfound desire just following suit
