A Beautiful Lie Poem by Joseph Came

A Beautiful Lie

In perspective, a dangerous woman of a dark time,
A burnt lilac, a whisper, a crashing tree;
Lyrical chaos dissolved in soft harmony,
Crushing frost trapped in bleary bliss,
Cruel evergreen in a withering and screaming desert,
Death and dust, imagined rainbow and love,
Pause. The cold forest struggles with distress.
And deep contentment and harmony craves reality.
