A Blue Ocean Poem by Anorak Neil Nymous

A Blue Ocean

Rating: 2.8

Wispy gauze veils the bright eye
Blown with soft current around
Dark wings in cloud flit and fly
Far above the river wound.

A green sea stands caught
Beneath fogged blue ocean
White tendrils circle and knot
The grain of wood in motion.

Long shards of immaterial gold
Break thin vapour and shine
On the wooded waves that rolled
Between water snakes entwine.

The bright eye has burned
And swept all the cloud away
All things sit bright and turned
In sun so bright, soul so sway.
