A Book Of Thousand Lies Poem by Luke Missi

A Book Of Thousand Lies

Whatever it sounded like
Whatever my face looked like that day
Whatever whichever wherever I lied
Whatever righteous motive I had
Whatever valid justification I can give, I lied.
I lied coz you were not ready
To handle the unfiltered truth altered
I lied coz I used to.
Lies were my daily bread I wouldn't live without
I even lied to myself thousand times
We know I made you happy with my creative lies
You smiled, you chuckled, aww whatever it was
I lied.
I had a burden of unsaid truth in my heart
I was a professional slave inside
Nobody could have saved me
Till I heard come yee of heavy burden
To me rest you shalt find
Come yee who haveth a book
Of thousand lies and other short sins,
To me, and drink the water of life.
I lied, till I met Jesus the man of cross.
