it’d be searching far and wide
where and what
I don’t know anymore
But I just have to

The actual truth
From mountains up high
To the heart of the core
I thought I’d scream out ‘Eureka! ’
But it’d be just a false alarm
As usual

Just another day
Wandering on this worrisome land
To sink beneath the ocean
To walk until the road ends
But it’s just another day

Look up to the stars
Reaching up to touch one
But it’s just out of reach
Or am I just too much of a coward

Here I am
There it’d be
Drifting away
Hoping it’d reach
I don’t know anymore

But it’d be better off
Than
With
Me
