A Brook Poem by Raymond Garfield Dandridge

A Brook

Reflecting ragged
Flecks of white,
Upon a background blue,
A living, liquid, ribbon
Slips, zig-zag,
Through meadow land.

Creeping, leaping,
Sighing, singing,
Piu Piano
At even flow,
Crescendo!
At the rapids.
