A cat like any cornered victim
Has two choices: flight or fight.

If you denied it flight -
An escape route
It will fight with all its might -
To rout or be routed.

Remember if you corner a cat
To leave a route of escape free
For if it is not allowed flight
It will to death fight.

In case, you underestimate a cat's might
Let me remind you one simple fact:
Remember a cat has nine lives.
